Mr. Chiranjaya Udumullage Attends JD.com’s 20th Anniversary Celebration

Mr. Chiranjaya Udumullage, CEO of Sri Road and Ceylon Tips, was honored with an invitation to attend the 20th anniversary celebration of JD.com (Jing Dong)—China’s leading e-commerce platform—at their headquarters.

Since the successful launch of the JD.com Sri Lanka National Pavilion on September 30th last year, Mr. Chiranjaya and his team have made remarkable progress in showcasing Sri Lankan products to Chinese consumers.

In just six months, the pavilion has expanded its offerings from Ceylon black tea and biscuits to a diverse range of products including jewelry, handicrafts, instant noodles, fruit juice beverages, latex bedding, and hundreds of other high-quality items.

This milestone reflects Mr. Chiranjaya’s ongoing commitment to promoting Sri Lankan exports and creating meaningful trade connections between Sri Lanka and China, leveraging one of the most powerful digital platforms in Asia.
