Ceylon Tips Joins the “Made in Sri Lanka” Initiative

“Ceylon Tips,” the flagship store of Beijing Sri Road Connection Trade Company Limited, a Beijing-based trading company founded by Sri Lankan entrepreneur Mr. Chiranjaya Udumullage, has recently joined hands with the “Made in Sri Lanka” initiative. This initiative was successfully launched in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission, the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

The “Made in Sri Lanka” initiative aims to support and encourage inventors by providing them with opportunities to showcase their inventions and products. It also offers valuable guidance on how to better commercialize and market these innovations to potential investors.

Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries, and Mr. Anushka Gunasinghe, Chairman of the National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA), identified “Ceylon Tips” as a prime example of how an entrepreneur can take on a leading role in creating market opportunities for Sri Lankan products—both locally and internationally. In recognition of this, Mr. Chiranjaya Udumullage was officially invited to affiliate “Ceylon Tips” with the “Made in Sri Lanka” initiative.
